Picnic in the Park

Our annual carnival & tournament is traditionally held on the second Sunday in October.
This year, it will be Sunday, October 12, 2014
Plan to spend the whole day with us in Clover Park filled with food, games, photos & a soccer tournament

Due to the planned increased cost of field space from the City of Santa Monica, we are hoping to fundraise at this event.  Representatives from each division have developed ideas for their division’s activity booths.  See the Activity Booths webpage.

All teams need to provide at least 1 person to help plan/prep their division’s activity booth, and 2-4 people to work a shift on the day, either at the division’s booth or elsewhere at Picnic in the Park.  Contact your division’s Booth Coordinator, your Team Manager or Division Commissioner for more info.

Please contact PicnicVolunteer@ayso20.org   if you think you have a few hours to help (or any other area of interest to you that would be helpful to the event). You can also sign up directly for individual booths, setup, take down, etc. by going to Picnic in the Park Volunteer Sign-Ups.

In addition, we will be taking player & team photos.  When confirmed, the photo schedule will be posted above as will the "bonus items" order sheet.  Bring the order sheet with you if you would like to order calendars, magnets, trading cards & more - all starring your player.


Picnic in the Park includes an exciting 5-A-Side Tournament for U10, U12, & U14 teams.  This is great opportunity for players to get a sense of playing in a tournament.  All teams are encouraged to participate with as large a roster as there is interest.  Teams must apply to participate.  Team applications, rules, game schedules, etc. will be posted above as they are confirmed.


This is an all day event.
The tournament begins at 9am.  Food & Activity Booths open at 11am.  Set-up starts even earlier!
