About Financial Assistance Program
A limited amount of Financial Assistance is available for qualifying families on a first come, first serve basis until our mid-June deadline for the upcoming Fall Season.
All other factors being equal, priority will be based on the level of volunteer participation in Santa Monica AYSO (i.e., active volunteers such as coaches & referees, receive priority.)
If you have qualified for Financial Assistance from:
- City of Santa Monica’s Community and Cultural Services Department
(CREST, Youth Sports, Camps, Swim Lessons, other City Programs)
- Free/Reduced School Lunch Program
- Section 8 Housing
...then you qualify for partial Santa Monica AYSO Financial Assistance.
If you do not participate in any of the above government assistance programs, but believe you may qualify for partial Financial Assistance, you may complete our Financial Assistance Supplemental Application as your Proof of Eligibility. However, it is easier for you & for us to provide one of the above documents if possible.
During Player Registration, you will be asked to indicate your potential eligibility for Financial Assistance. You will be charged a reduced rate, pending review of your eligibility. However, your registration is not complete until you submit a Proof of Eligibility document to the Financial Assistance Coordinator. Based on eligibility, additional registration fees may be required at that time.
If you do not submit your Proof of Eligibility document to the Region within 15 days of registering, the player will be dropped from the program and you will need to begin the player registration process over again.
