    Artificial Turf, that is. And nothing in regards to food or drink, other than water. This means no half-time snacks, no food, no sports drinks, no gum, no sunflower seeds, no nothing (other than plain, old fashioned water). The fields cannot be cleaned, so any debris is permanent. Therefore, the City has developed these policies to protect their investment, and if we want to continue the privilege of using these fine fields we must abide by them. The City Monitors keep track of the violations, and our numbers have been increasing throughout the season. more

    There are many local issues at stake in this election, so we hope you all make the time to go to the polls and vote. As you analyze the various candidates for Santa Monica City Council and Santa Monica Malibu School Board, also keep their positions on playing fields in mind, along with all of the other important issues to you. Although Santa Monica AYSO does not receive any government funding, as with any local sports organization, we experience the great pressure of a lack of field space in our community. Additionally, the rental fees have dramatically increased over recent years. more

    The Fall Select program has started.  Please don't forget to let your strongest players know about FALL SELECT. It started Sunday, Sept. 12, but it's not too late to have your players join. Don't let your U10, U12 or U14 players miss out on the opportunity to play club-level soccer at NO ADDITIONAL COST! more

    AYSO Camps create an environment that is fun and conducive to learning for all ages and levels of ability, and this year's camp will take place at Santa Monica's Memorial Park (16th and Olympic). Anyone can participate - AYSO camps are open to everyone in the community. more

    Players may still register, however they will automatically be placed on the waiting list until the team formation process is complete. We do our best to place all players on the waiting list, especially those children of key volunteers such as coaches and referees. (See t
