    In the next few days, we will announce when our Early Bird Registration will begin for Fall 2011. The lowest registration discount rate will be valid only until January 5, so be sure to check back before then.

    Also this week, we will let you know about some of the local opportunities to keep your player’s soccer feet active over the holidays and during the Spring. more

    With playoffs and championships on the line, some of our coaches & parents may not have exhibited the best sideline behavior last weekend. Remember, the kids are watching you and will be mimicking your actions throughout life (including in your home). Set the good example. Positive words to the players, silence to the referees. more

  • Championship Day / Closing Day Activities - This Sunday

    It’s a busy weekend for SM AYSO, whether you have a game or not. Please keep up the perfect record we had last weekend on our artificial turf fields - water only! At JAMS, the entrance to the school is the same, but the only entrance to the playing field will now be between the north & south fields. All U12 & U14 Championship games will be played at JAMS on Sunday. All U10 Championship games will be played at Clover Park on Sunday. more

  • Congratulations to our Sportsmanship Points Winners

    All season long our referees having been noting the conduct of coaches, players & spectators at every game. Three teams emerged with top scores in U10G, U12B & U14G. Most notable was the Pink Dominators, lead by Coach Mark Young & Assistant Coach Mark Fuchs in U10Girls. When they won, they won with class. When they lost, the players gracefully accepted defeat but never gave up. All along the way, they had a brave set of parents supporting them. Thanks for representing Santa Monica AYSO so well and enjoy your Sportsmanship prizes. more

  • Today is RAD!!! (Referee Appreciation Day)

    As our season comes to a close for all of our U6 & U8 teams, and many of our U10, U12 & U14 teams, we’d like to dedicate this Saturday as Referee Appreciation Day (RAD). We want to recognize the men, women, and youth who volunteer their time to make sure our kids are able to play a safe, fun and fair game of soccer each week.   more

  • Championship Day / Closing Day - Sunday, December 12

    Save the date!   Even though the playing season may be over for many teams this weekend, there are games to be seen, people to meet, medals to be had, photos delivered, make-up photos being taken, parties to attend and much more on our Championship Day / Closing Day.  Division-specific information will be sent to your directly early next week.  

    We will also be accepting donations of cleats for needy kids in Tanzania and uniforms for needy kids in LA on that day. more

  • Spring Select & All Star Teams (U10 & Above)

    Spring Select and All Star coaches will select the strongest players from the region who really want to play soccer and will make a commitment to the team for the duration of the spring season.  Spring Select and All Star teams will work together and play tournaments from January or February until May or June.  Selected players from divisions U10 and above are eligible to participate.

    Upper Division Spring teams must wait until the end of the high school season to begin their spring tournament.   more

    Official playoff schedules are now posted under the FALL 2010 tab, Game Schedules.  If you looked  before 9:00am 11/30, please double check them as changes have been made.  Good luck to everyone this weekend!  Play on, play fair.
