    All U10, U12 & U14 Teams can be found be selecting Turkey Program under Quick Links to the left of this announcement or selecting Turkey Tournament Program under the Fall 2011 tab above. Congratulations to all players who have been placed on a team. We wish we could have accommodated everyone who was interested. If you were not selected this time, please keep trying.     A slightly belated happy birthday to Maryanne LaGuardia - one of our regions most dedicated volunteers. A past Regional Commissioner (for many, many years), Maryanne continues to work behind the scenes to help make this an amazing soccer region.     Some grass fields are closed only in the morning.  Others are closed all day.

    If you have an afternoon game and your field is open, i.e., Clover Extension or Marine, your game is on!

    Due to the various field closures & delayed openings, the following are options for U5, U6, U7, U8 teams whose morning games cannot be played.  Schedules have been updated - check your's using the game schedule link to the left under Quick Links.        U6G teams with 9:30 & 10:30 games can delay their games 5 hours.  The 11:30 games should delay taking the field until 12 noon and play their game at Grant at noon.  They can remain at Grant on one field for practice at 12:30.  U6B teams with morning games can delay their start ti more

    Our annual carnival & 5v5 tournament, Picnic in the Park, is this Sunday, October 9. Plan to spend the whole day at Clover Park. There will be many things to do … Game Booths … Food … Picture Day … Day to Hang with our Community … and the annual 5-A-Side Soccer Tournament.

    Set up starts at 8:00am. Photos start at 8:45 am.
    5v5 Tournament starts at 9:00 am with check-in starting at 8:30.
    Most booths and food start at noon with some earlier.

    Back by popular demand, starting Sunday 10/16/11 will be the Fall Skills/Scrimmage program at JAMS. More information will be available this coming week.

    Coaches & Assistant Coaches – Come participate in the Fall Scrimmage Program as well. Not only will you be helpful to the program, but the program can be helpful to you. It’s a great opportunity to learn new drills from your fellow coaches. Coach RSVP will be available this coming week. more

    Calling all Field Painiting Volunteers!
    A Field Painter’s volunteer role can be fulfilled by:

    1. Measuring, laying out and painting ALL of the fields at the beginning of the season – 5 hours/day over the course of 5 days (participating in at least 3 of the 5 days will fulfill your season's volunteer obligation).
      OR
    2. By painting one or two fields every week of the season, either on Friday or early Saturday morning before the first game for an hour or two.

    Either of these two options fulfills your personal volunteer responsibility to your team.
